The Bachelor of Science in Nursing programme is offered by the Peking University Health Science Centre - Macao Polytechnic University Nursing Academy, an education entity jointly established by MPU and the Peking University Health Science Center. The programme is designed to let students acquire professional knowledge as well as practice, giving them a chance to engage in clinical practice for four years during their studies. To equip students with international concepts, the programme offers one-year study in Beijing to strengthen students' clinical nursing skills and theoretical knowledge. It also provides knowledge and best practices through clinical internship in Macao government hospitals, private hospitals, community health centers and other health service facilities. Graduates will be familiar with the healthcare systems in both Macao and Mainland China, and will be recognised as qualified nursing professionals by the Macao SAR government. Qualified graduates will gain the chance of direct admission into the Master of Science in Nursing at MPU.
