The Correlation between Knowledge Management of Nursing Student and Clinical Performance

Objective

To explore knowledge management of nursing students and initiate training the clinical contingency ability.

Methods

A total of 135 full-time nursing students and their academic score were investigated.

Results

Significant difference was found on KM behavior of participants (p<0.05), academic tutor scoring (p<0.001) and clinical mentor scoring (p<0.001) in different clinical practicum of varies subjects. It is also the significant positive correlation between the cognition of KM and the score of academic tutor (p<0.01).

Conclusions

Knowledge management is a humanistic working system, in order to solve clinical problems and the enhancement of care, knowledge must be exerted to maximum effectiveness.
