Abstract
The purpose of this study is to explore the barriers of kindergarten teachers in health promotion and designing safety activities for students. Through on caring of kindergarten students, teachers teach students the correct knowledge on health as well as provide safe activities. The concepts of healthy and safe are very important for kindergarten students. In the course of their development, a healthy lifestyle should be established in the early stages of childhood. The proportion of teachers and students in kindergarten education is appropriate in Macau. Data showed that infectious diseases occurred among young children in kindergarten. Through interviewing with 12 active kindergarten teachers, they expressed that they need to learn more about health promotion and designing safety teaching activities. The interview result was found that conducting health promotion training among kindergarten teachers were necessary.
